Play and Sing
Play and Sing is an introductory program for children starting at two years and nine months of age. Meeting on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, this two-hour class is a wonderful way for children to become comfortable in the preschool environment. With a unique ratio of five or six students to two teachers, a great deal of personal attention is paid to each child as they play, socialize, create, and enjoy music.

Junior Program
The Junior Program is for children three to four years old. The morning session runs from 8:30 AM until 11:20 AM with a flexible extended day available as late as 2:30 PM. Junior students may attend the two-day (Tuesday/Thursday) or the three-day (Monday/Wednesday/Friday) program. In the Junior Program pre-literacy skills development and socialization are combined with stories, music and crafts, as well as plenty of indoor/outdoor free play. Parents are always welcome.

Senior Program
The Senior Program is designed for four and five year olds. Seniors may attend three, four, or five mornings a week, from 8:30 AM to 11:20 AM with extended day available as late as 2:30 PM. The curriculum is fueled by student interest, and pre-literacy skills are strengthened as students are immersed in topics such as birds, space, and Native American life. Time is reserved for music, arts and crafts, cooking projects, and outdoor play. Parents may play an even more active role in the classroom Senior year with field trips, Breakfast Club, Royal Readers, and cooking projects.

Afternoon Program
A multi-age group of children ages three, four, and five may choose to attend this Monday/Wednesday/Friday session from 12:15 PM to 2:50 PM. As in our morning programs, the Afternoon Program offers pre-literacy skills development and socialization through interaction with literature, music and other projects. There is also plenty of time set aside for indoor and outdoor free play.

Extended Day
WCNS is pleased to offer an Extended Day option known as "Lunch Bunch" to all morning Junior and Senior students. It is a wonderful opportunity for our students to experience a longer school day with new friends and a variety of structured and unstructured activities. Extended Day runs from morning dismissal (11:20 AM) until 2:30 PM, although students may be dismissed at an earlier prearranged time if desired. Extended Day is offered five days a week, and an additional fee is charged independent of tuition.

Summer Program
In addition to our academic year, WCNS offers a summer program combining current students, graduating students, and incoming students. Using the same building and playground, the summer program is a wonderful way to connect the children to their school where they feel comfortable and happy. A number of our valued teachers continue teaching at WCNS through the summer session.
